However, despite of many challenges like shrinking of common grazing lands, unfriendly forest policies, erratic monsoon and behavior of new generations of those communities are posing serious threats to this profession. Hence, a need based feeding protocols need to be followed to make Goat & Sheep value chain viable & profitable.
FarmVic took it as a challenge to facilitate Goat & Sheep Rearing Communities through providing need based Goat & Sheep Feed.

Besides that looking into unique properties, goat milk is also drawing consumers’ attention due to its health benefits. Therefore there is ample opportunity of growth in Goat Milk business currently. Looking into nutritional requirements of lactating goats, FarmVic developed a feed for Dairy Goats named as ‘FarmGo’.
Pregnant Goat/ Sheep
During the last one month of pregnancy in Goats & Sheep, fetal growth increases 60 – 80 per cent until parturition and lack of enough nutrients in the feed can cause pregnancy related problems in does& ewes. So during this period animals should be allowed in very good quality pasture along with specifically developed feed for pregnant Sheep & Goats.
