Creep Feed:
Creep Feed, the very first and most important dry food is required forbaby piglets from their age of 7 to 21 days. It contains every required nutrient in proper level & proportion. However, sources used to develop Creep Feed must be chewable, highly palatable & digestible.
Starter Feed:
Starter Feed is given to piglets weaned at 3 - 5 weeks of 11 - 13 kg body weightuntil they reach 18 kg live weight at 8 -10 weeks of age.However, from switching piglets from Creep Feed to Starter Feed, new diet should be kept at low level until the piglets become accustomed to it.
Grower Feed:
Grower Feed is given to pigs of 10 - 12 weeks of age in 15 -20 kg body weight segment until the attainment of 15- 16 weeks of age with body weight of 38 -40 kg.
Finisher Feed:
Finisher Feed is given to pigs of 16 - 18 weeks of age in 38 -40 kg body weight segment until the attainment of 28- 30 weeks of age with body weight of 100kg.
